K22

Picked this one up today, did alittle horse trading for it. K22, dates 1948. Even thought it has been plated, I am happy with what I got.

As far as I know, S&W never plated the sights and marked the cylinder with an N.

The only known standard production nickel 6” K-frame .22s where shipped in 1975. They are very rare, Only 15 were produced with target triggers and hammers. Since this gun was made in 1948, it is obviously a non factory plated gun. I would not recommend spending the $75 to letter this revolver.
