Just ordered two Jard non adjustable trigger groups for $55/unit. Normally a $189. Use code "1776" and pick free shipping at check out. They are not KIDD or Timney but I'll bet they are way way better than any Ruger, including BX and for the money, why wouldn't you. I'll probibly kick myself for not ordering 5 just because. Anyways. Here ya are. Go get em. It showed they have 150 or so in stock

Does not appear that you get to choose the pull weight and it does not tell you the weight you will get.

So i have bought 4 of these 1 was a unit made for slidefire like the link posted and 3 were from S&P all came with a 2- 2.5 pound spring in them.

I personally really like these triggers. A Kidd they are not but they are great for the money! The internals are really robust and a nice simple design. Super nice loud reset as well. They take about 200 rounds to break in but end up very crisp with slight smooth take up. The spring is easy to switch for pull weight just remove 2 pins and the 2 subassembles lift right out. I would cation using the 1# spring as you can have failures to reset in my experience. 1.5# is perfect.

The other thing to know is from what JARD told me is the slide fire units are slightly different internally then the normal Sportsman. As I recall they will swap them out for $15 or so. All of mine worked fine I did end up sending the slidefire unit to them to be converted to their adjustable trigger.

Darn it, I went ahead and ordered one. See what the weight is and maybe order a spring later.

For that price I couldnít resist either and ordered one, Iím doing a secondary build and couldnít decide on a BX or not so Iíll try the Jard and the BX and send back the BX if the Jard is better.

I normally keep a BX around for a spare. I may put a Kidd trigger kit in it and use this one for a spare. We'll see how I like it, LOL.

Jard said that they may need to do the $15 job of whatever they do but for the money I had to get a couple. Worst case scenario it's better than stock.

Age old story, different day

First post on this Forum, triggers and an impulse you all know. A Jard for $55, why not? Time for an impulse buy. Yes I did, and after 50 years of tinkering and modding I still haven't mastered self control, but I darn sure can Justify. I appreciate the heads up on a bargain, and knowing I'm not the only one buys just because it's a deal.

Probably would never have tried the Jard trigger at the normal price, but they seem to get pretty good reviews. Gotta be better than a BX, so why not try it at that price.

Have about a 15 YO Jard single action in an old Armalite AR lower with a very high round count, lower's been in a number of builds, never been readjusted, never hiccuped, crisp as can be. Very well made trigger. So $55 for a fair .22 trigger I don't really need seems reasonable.

Thinking about grabbing one of these. Are they a 2-stage or a single stage trigger? Doesnt seem to say.

How would these compare to a tier 1 Brimstone trigger? I have a pair of those right now, but at the $55 cost, that's hard to pass up.

They are a single stage trigger. I'm not sure about brimstone but they were light years ahead of the BX trigger and the factory Group with Volquartsen trigger, hammer, and disconector they replaced in my guns. All in all a very good trigger just give them about 200 round to break in. Everything is finished with parkerizing or something similar so it takes a but to wear the finish off the moving parts but when you do they are very smooth.

I have a BX on the way for my first build but ordered this one anyway. I guess I could always sell the BX if I need to or save it for another build.
