I had been shooting at 350 yards and thought I would post my results.

I shot my Vudoo with 18" Ace barrel, Vortex Viper PST 5-25x50 scope and shot SK Pistol Match ammo.
Ave velocity: 1081, low was1065, and high was1103. ES 38, SD 8.

I had been shooting at a 15" square steel target at 350 yards, but I had a few misses. I placed a bigger paper target behind it to catch the misses. I had 40 out of 50 hits on the steel. The misses were mostly just over the top. I had 17 MIL of elevation dialed in. The wind was a little twitchy. There is one real high hit and a couple just off each side. Most of the hits were in a group 15 inches high and 10 inches wide.

Bummer. Sideways pictures. Tilt your head to the left to view pictures.

That's what I like to see!
Not 5 shots or 10 shots, but the whole dang box.
Push that 22lr beyond accepted limits.

That's one down...Only 217 other flavors of rimfire to go Bill...

That's good shootin! I found my Vudoo 20" Ace likes the sk pistol too. It is not as good as Center x but a cheap acceptable alternative

I haven't shot anything except SK or Lapua through my Vudoo. I probably won't shoot anything except standard velocity stuff. I've got a box of Tenex somewhere and most of a brick of RWS.

Guess I'll have to try my $2.06/50 Geco on paper at that distance someday, might even use a scope.

I decided to try some different ammo at 50 at 350.
First up, Midas. Average velocity, 1082. Low, 1063 and high was 1098. ES 35, SD 7. My windage was a little off so there were 3 hits just off the steel on the right. All 50 shots were in a group that was 22" tall and about 10" wide. I had 42 hits on steel.

IMG_3404.jpg

Next up was Eley Tenex. I had a couple of boxes left over from when I bought some hoping to make my 10-22 into a target rifle. Average velocity was 1132. Pretty fast. Low was 1117 and high was 1162. ES 45 and SD 8. The 1162 was a one off with the next highest being 1148. It took a few shots to get on target. I ended up dialing in 15.0 mil. I had used 17.0 with the other ammos. The Tenex gave me a rounder group that was 12" high and 14" wide.
IMG_3409.jpg

Conclusions. The Tenex at $16.80 a box shot best. Next was Midas at $14.70 a box. The SK Pistol at $5.80 a box shot way above it's cost. I'll probably stick with the cheap stuff. The Tenex said on the box that it was 1075 but this shot much faster.

Where did you find Eley Tenex for $16.80 ?

Best price I have seen is $16.99 from Killough Shooting Sports

Today I shot some SK Long Range at 350 yards with my Vudoo. I fired 70 rounds over the chronograph. High was 1142, low was 1083, average was 1101, ES 59 and SD 11.

I fired 50 rounds at the 15"x15" steel target with 46 or 47 hits on the steel with 3 hits a little high and on the paper backing. All 50 shots were in a group that was 17" tall and 14" wide. Wind was pretty light today.

I think the SK Long Range might shoot a little better than some previous ammo. Or I'm getting to be a better shot. I don't know if these are good groups for this distance or not.

It's fun to see the splash on the target before I hear the ring on the steel.

Another sideways picture. Tilt you head to the left.

I decided to try my 10-22 at 350. I had sent my 10-22 to CPC and they did their magic on it. It shoots pretty good. 30 shots at 350 yards with 26 hits on my 15" square steel target. I realize it's only 30 shots, but it's my thread and I changed the rules. Attachment 188911
I took a break to eat a ham sammich and got some company.

Pictures didn't show up.

I figured out how to post a sideways picture. This picture goes with my post from 7-31-2019.

My wife shot 50 at 350 yards the other day. Before this she had only shot as far as 150 yards. Vudoo with SK Biathlon.

Bill, you and y'er better half are just making me envious.
You know if I had convenient access to longer distances I'd be trying to match y'er results.

Note, I said trying. Not gonna claim I could do as well.
350 yards is a long ways out there. Too much time of flight to mess with me.
