Hard to believe that as much as Arrowdodger was a part of this forum he has completely vanished. I hope everything is alright with him. He is Mr. Marlin 60!

Has anyone heard from Arrowdodger recently? My only concern is that he is OK. The triggers are a distant second as far as I am concerned.

Ack we don't know how he's doing and we're talking triggers? What I know of my Marlins is due to him- hope he's well.

I put an mcarbo trigger kit in my 60 with great results, I have never felt a KAT trigger but if better than the mcarbo, it is a heck of a trigger.
Regardless, it is a good alternative if you are unable to get a KAT.

Anyone willing to sell one, or the firearm, please contact me. Was hoping to get one so I can teach my twin boys how to shoot and work on precision.

Assuming no one offers to sell me one, what would be the next best option for a Marlin 60?

MCarbo or DIP Trigger / Trigger Guard

I got one of his triggers. He had great communication and I feel that he was really interested in making sure you were happy. I would question anyone with a less favorable opinion of him. I also hope he is well. If he was just tired of it, I understand. Nothing is forever. I do think he would have a good chance of selling his business and hope he does at great profit. He's earned it.

Smile

Iíve been a lurker for several years, joined a few months ago but this is my first post. I was fortunate to have arrowdodger install a Kat trigger in my new Marlin 60 about 18 months ago. I talked to him on the phone a couple of times and was impressed with how he answered all of my questions in a professional gentlemanly way. Iím retired and he asked me how I liked being retired and he said he was looking forward to retirement in a few years so Iím hoping thatís the case with him. My gunsmith asked about the Kat trigger when he had my 60 apart for another issue and was very impressed with the design and quality of the Kat. Iím hoping heís just taking a sabbatical and will be back soon.

I have 2 795ís and was looking for trigger improvements, options and I run across this thread.

I have Mcarbo springs in one which is certainly an improvement but sounds like there really isnít any replacement for this KAT trigger.

Hi guys. Thank you all for your concerns. I am suffering burn-out from all the past activity. I am rarely answering any emails, phone calls and PM's. Please do not take this personally. Its too difficult for me to balance family, hobbies and my real job. Sincerely, Mark
