Very nice mitchm1! I like those old Peters Antique series boxes. Also like that Crosman Super Pells tin. Thanks for posting.

Duplex shotshells...I like the "tactical" treatment of the shells, before Tacticool became popular.

A unique shotshell...only 150 of these made for the annual St. Louis International Cartridge Show. This show is an all collector cartridges show and is the Mecca for anyone interested in the hobby. Held in the spring, I try to go every year. You couldn't bring enough money with you.

This pic, not mine, is about half of the room's contents.

They were very popular in the old days before paper shotgun shells. I have a bunch of them, most were not expensive, 2-3 bucks each. I always liked them the best.

At first glance, this looks like an old Peters League box, but it was made by Ward's Auctions to commemorate their 10 year anniversary. Ward's is probably the biggest auction site for collector cartridges and boxes and they hold 4 online/catalog auctions each year.

No ammo with these, they are just empty boxes. The original Peters League boxes go for big bucks. In their latest auction a full box of these in 20 Gauge sold for $4168.

A Federal Shotshell ID Kit, containing empty shells... 10, 16, 12, 20, 28, 410, left to right.

A sample pouch of Gevelot 12 gauge shotshells.

Here's an old 8 Gauge all brass shotshell before UMC merged with Remington.

What looks like water spots on the brass is old lacquer polish. A previous owner used it to preserve the case shine...a common practice among older collectors.

Western 16 Gauge. Wish the prices were that low today.

When you were good, you were known as one of these.

The Austin Cartridge Company of Ohio, founded in 1895, bought out by Western in 1907.
