What stage of steel challenge do you find the most challenging?
Why?

5 To Go. There is a simple trap since all the targets are large and you should be able to hit them with no problem. I end up going too fast and always drop one or two hits. Also at our club the Stop Plate has a large splash guard target to keep shots from impacting a side berm. If you hit the splash target you may not follow up with a shot on the Stop Plate. This hurts you time.

Not really following you when you say all of the targets are large. This stage has some of the smallest targets in steel challenge. Targets 1 thru 4 (from left to right) are all 10 inch with the stop being 12. Most people consider target 4 the trap target. Are you confusing this with smoke and hope??????

No confusion here. A 10 inch target at those distances is very large. Target 4 is the trap target. Some shooters, including Rob Leatham, believe you should start on 4 and work to 1 then the stop plate.

Smoke And Hope is large and close. The only reason you miss is you are not paying attention to your sights. Even at those ranges you can't just point and shoot with reliability.

The OP asked what stages do I find challenging. I still believe, for me, 5 To Go is the hardest.
