MK III 22/45 frame won't fit LLV?

So I reciently bought a clearance LLV and bolt directly from Volquartsen. I also ordered a MK III 22/45 frame (only) off gunbroker figuring I'd do a new build.
So my problem is that when I mount the 22/45 frame to the LLV, the LLV stands off the front edges of the frame by 0.015-0.020". When fully assembled (with mag and mainspring assembly installed.) the LLV has side to side play and also rocks side to side a bit .
I got the chance to try the same frame on a MK III target upper and that had some play too (although not as quite as bad.)
So has anybody run into this ? I'm thinking there is something out of spec with this frame an am wondering if I need to rework the front lug ( or send it to ruger.)
I do have an email into Volquartsen for advice but as of yet, have not heard back.

Here is a picture of the gap when the gun is fully assembled.

I just heard back from Volquartsen. They are going to send me a lable to ship them the MK III frame and their LLV for fitment. Can't ask for better than that. Hope they can resolve this.

I bought a MKIII frame only last year and a Pac-Lite receiver for it. Mine is just like yours. The lug sits up way too high. I ended up shimming the lug with some pieces of a cut up coke can. It of course still has that same gap you have, but I haven't had any issues with it once the mainspring is in place. But yeah, take it down and it just falls apart.

My cousin built one the same way right when I did, and his lug sits much lower to where the upper is a pain to get on and off. Its just crappy tolerances from Ruger. If VQ is going to fix that for you, then you just scored. Amazing what they do on things that really aren't even a result of their products. Same goes for TacSol. Those companies are amazing.
