Appreciate the help that you guys provided . I have not had many 22 mag but I learned that it is like any other rifle you got to find what ammo it likes and a little tweaking here and there.

Not available at this time.
Anschutz North America is expecting a delivery.
Expensive stuff, price is similar to Lapua X-Act.
Jaia.

When I bought my Anshutz 1720 HB a number of years ago, I picked up a couple of boxes of the RWS ammo from the dealer that sold me the rifle. I tried every type of ammo through that rifle, and while it shot them all pretty good, nothing came close to the RWS stuff. After testing and seeing how good it was, I immediately had the dealer ship me a brick of the stuff. It was very expensive, but I should have bought all he had in stock as it is no longer available (at least it wasn't the last time I looked). If you ever find some, pick it up.

I'm glad I came across this thread. I bought a CZ-455 Varmint to hunt coyotes and jacks down here in NM. I wanted something quieter than my 222 Rem when I hunt around houses. I've been pretty disappointed by the accuracy, plated bullets into big groups, jacketed 40gr Win about 1 1/2" at 100 yards. I was contemplating a new barrel, I'm glad to see that I shouldn't expect much more than what it is doing.
