In my latest communication with Jeff (JWA), he was still waiting on his editor, who seems to be taking a bit longer than Jeff would have liked.
A lot of us are looking forward to it, and I would guess it might be available by late fall?

Hi Guys,

It is completely written and in the hands of my go-to-guy for editing (who is as busy as I am with his day job). I don't want to rush his editing process because I would like to deliver the best end-product possible to you guys. After that, it will also go to some other volunteers for a peer review to make sure I don't make some stupid mistakes (although that is always still possible).

Once that quality assurance process is complete it will go to the publisher for printing and I fully expect it to be available this fall. I hope to have the publisher make it available for direct purchase via their website, Amazon and possibly even eBay to make it easy to obtain.

I will keep you posted on the progress and appreciate your patience.

Best Regards,

.

I'm really looking forward to Jeffs book. Any news in the past couple months? Is it released yet?

Ever seen a 69 with a full length 1903 style stock with a bayonet lug on the end. I believe it was used by the British Home Guard during WWII.

To all,

Thanks for your patience! I have been working out of the country for the last 3 months and finally get back home tonight (just made it back CONUS). I apologize for being offline for so long but made 13+ laps of the globe in the interim. Still have travel obligations on foreign soil this year but I should be in "friendlier" countries and have internet access for tbe rest of the year. First priority is to jump back on the book and get it to the publisher.

To answer the latest post, no I have not seen a 1903 style stock with a provision for a bayonet on a 69 but would LOVE to see pictures. Thanks for posting

Best Regards,

Please forgive any fat finger errors from my phone.....

Man, that's a lot of work. Bet you like the movie "Up in the Air"!
