A Henry lever action would be awesome as a quick handling carry around gun. A single shot would be cool too.

A fully enclosed rim is a requirement with the thin 5mm case, or something very close to fully enclosed. A large firing pin hole will produce dimple protrusion. Eric was able to modify a CZ452 that was fully functional, I think as a single shot.

I was shooting my CZ a few days ago. It did well with the new ammo.

Here you go, Al.

Our initial ammo review is up. The speed numbers are slightly lower than the ones I posted above. The ammo shot well, but I was only able to test it at 75 yards. We will retest at some point, either before SHOT, or afterwards.

Thanks Eric! The JHP ammo looks like just the ticket for Jackrabbits here in Oregon.

No problem, guys! I have a LabRadar on order and it will be here next week. If I get some time and the weather holds, I'll post an update in the article (if there are any differences).

Ammo is starting to show up online. Best price I see is $22.49 for the SJHP stuff. $22.99 for JHP. This is from Ammoseek.

I bought a case this morning online! I'm disappointed to see that they seem to have just rebranded the same crap they were selling a decade ago though. I was really looking forward to the 38 grain stuff they were claiming was coming.

Oh well...any ammo is better than none!

When I tried ammoseek, the listing had been up for only seconds and supply was 16 boxes of SJHP and about the same for JHP.
