bench game

like the game, but tell me, do you judge the three arrows against each other for each shot with the largest arrow being dominant?

Man, I have GOT to get into all the other forums more often! I JUST found this today. Jim, thanks for the very generous efforts and freeware, as well as the updated versions. That is a lot of work just to help out your fellow enthusiasts.

I will give it a try when I can, but I foresee this being my only favorite computer game.

Thanks again!
Mark

Does everyone find the windflags are pretty accurate to real shooting? If they are, I had no idea how bad I was at reading them! Sometimes I calculate the effects on how I think it should react and the shot ends up on
the other size of 9 ring.

I guess I just have to play more!

Great contribution to this site. Man this is one addicting game. Sorry I found it so late.

Thanks a bunch. This will be a real learning experience as a usually do not take wind into consideration at my range. I just wing it.

Talking Benchrest Shooting Program

Great Program!!!! I have been a benchrest competitor for many years mostly centerfire but also participate in 22 matches. If you ever decide to add any features, I would like to see the option of a freeze frame after every shot.

As the program is now, it is hard to analyze why your shot, after compensation (holding off) the bullet did not hit exactly center. Of course, this is how it works in the real world of competition. If you could freeze the conditions and analyse the shot you may be better able to LEARN how to compensate for conditions.

Truly a great PROGRAM!!!!
