Howdy folks and Happy Fourth of July!!

Well, as always, I go shooting on the 4th of July, instead on wasting money on fireworks. Just got my four 25 round Promags in this week.

All I can say is that I LOVE THEM!! Put 500 rounds though them with different ammo: lead, copper plated, HV and regular velocity. I only had one hangup, and that might have been the shell. Bolt empty-stop worked with each mag as well.

Loaded them all by thumb, so its a little sore, so next time I'll use a light glove to reload. BTW, the ones I got could hold 26 rounds, so maybe that's why I had a hangup. Fired a few mags as fast as I could pull the trigger, and they fed great.

LUV my Marlin 795 !!!!

Get the Mcfadden lightning grip loader. It will save your thumbs.

Hello I bought the lightning grip loader for my promag 25 round magazines and it does not work. Works great with the factory mags. I've heard the promag needs a little filing to work right. Anyone know anything about this? Sure would be nice to use it with the promags. Marlin 795.

My lightin' grip works with the promags although I find holding the mag up or down in the adapter while loading sometimes makes it smoother.

Just a tad off subject, they advertise their 10/22 adapter for aftermarket mags only. Do they say that to avoid the wrath of Ruger or is it true that it won't work on OEM mags?
