Well I had a 3rd tactical type 10/22 to show you mtcentral but when I tried to post it I get a message saying I've exceeded my limit. It's counting the first 2 pics as part of my attachments. So unless I can figure it out I'll never be able to post another pic. I'm exceedingly bummed out.

yes they are nice. isnt the bullpup kinda hard to hold. ive never actually seen one up close. they do look cool though. but i am keen on the folders, i dont know why??? i havent figured out the picture posting yet. ill have to because my gun is gettin done faster than i thought. i dont have it at home yet it is at my friends house because my fac id has not come yet. i have only been into guns now for about three months. had bbs and little guns as a kid but didnt go much past that. so im learning lots and he is going to help me do a trigger job to it as it is stock now.

The bullpup does look strange but it's really comfortable to shoot. It's quiet too because all of the action is encased. I see you're from Vancouver Isle. I'm in eastern WA. state.

anyways i built the wire part of the stock.it was a folder but it had 3/16 wire and a plastic cover , real bad. so i made a new one with 3/8 ms roundbar and tried to follow the angle of the pistol grip. i think it looks cool but you wont recognize it in the next pic i post. i am going to try incorperate a little bit of silver on it but mainly flat black. would also like a larger scope but this one will do for now. i am only into this gun for 250 canadian including the cost of the gun. when it is done probably around 350$ cheap cheap

I know this discussion over the "tactical" part of a .22 is over, but I just wanted to say to those guys who scoff at a tactical .22 b/c its just a .22, take a look at this http://www.ruger1022.com/docs/israeli_sniper.htm

The Israeli Special Forces use that little .22 as a fully suppressed sniper rifle, and it serves them well. Scoff at a .22 just b/c its a .22? I think you're wrong. Anyways, most the guys here just put these things like red dots and pistol grips on their 10/22 b/c it looks freakin sweet, not b/c they think they may need it to stop an invasion someday, although it would serve them well.

Good point, jshua87. I remember seeing that article where they talk about having the plan to use the 10/22 as a "less-lethal" anti-riot weapon. But it seems like when the BGs were shot with the "inefective" .22 round they had a nasty habit of becoming de-animated.

I haven't seen anyone scoff at the .22. What I see scoffed at is the 'assault weapon' look. Look at that Isreali gun. It is just a standard Ruger stock... this is THE isreali special forces and THEY don't use one that looks like at assault weapon.

Besides, that weapon is far from stock. Special barrel/twist to shoot 60 grain bullets for head shots from close range (50-75 yards) on riot leaders, etc so as not to be detected. Very specialized, very effective and LOOKS like you could take it out hunting with the guys and not look out of place.

Hey, if that's your thing I think it's great, but don't put words into people's mouths who don't find them all that.

MT... be sure to tell your wife to pose next time with her finger off the trigger. Unless she was actually trying to shoot something from the couch.

Markbo, "headshots"? Maybe I didn't see the same article that you saw. I thought I remembered it talking about use as a "less-lethal" option.

No, but I think there is an outlet for a coffee maker and I am pretty sure it has a broadband Internet connection, LOL!
