What is your favorite ammo for Rimfire Steel Challenge shooting?

I've been using CCI Mini Mags but am switching to CCI SV since my gun now shoots it with no problems.

I don't shoot Steel Challenge, but if I did, the number one consideration would be whatever ammo ran perfectly through my gun.

CCI.

Standard Velocity almost always, though I have ran AR Tactical once because I had a 4yr old box of 300 sitting on the shelf. May have used some mini mags once in a knock down competition. Regardless, the CCI SV was my go to last year, and there's 10,000 rds of it in the closet now thanks to Midway and Brownells. On the adverse, I've used Blazers and Aguila SV for practice ammo. I'd use the Blazers in competition if I had to, but I would NOT use the Aguila.

My Ruger MKIII 22/45 does not care. It eats anything I feed it (though it hasn't had any Rem.) All ammo goes bang and steel goes ding.

I buy what is cheap and go shooting.

Yeah, I know, I am lucky.

I've used CCI SV for shooting Steel Challenge. Mostly with a 10/22 in open.

I use 40 LRN Blazer .22LR ammo and CCI Standard Velocity. They both run 100% through my Mark III and 10/22. It seems anything by CCI works 100% through my 2 Rugers.
