Thank you. It's a tougher challenge than it looks!

This game is both horribly frustrating and terribly fun, all at the same time! I wound up getting a new Anschutz 64 MPR just to be able to get enough tacks at 50 yards! First day out, it got 24/25 @ 50 with a Caldwell sled. Wasn't sure the sled would count for the competition so didn't submit that one.

I managed to get 21 tacks at 50 yards on my 2nd weekend out with the Anschutz 64 MPR, 8-32x44 Meuller scope, "The Rock BR" front rest and a medium height Protektor rear bag. Ammo used was SK Rifle Match.

Here is the target shot.

I got a new gun a few weeks ago. I haven't had a bolt gun in quite a few years. I tried a 25 yd Tack Driver a few days ago. After it's broke in I'll try a 50 .

25 yards SK RM
23 Tacks

CZ 455 Varmint ,trigger spring change.
Mueller 8x32 Target dot.
Bald Eagle rest, Protektor bags.

Nice shooting Cow, Sail, and Lotema. I've been shooting Tack Drivers for a while now with my 10/22's. It's real easy to go astray . You can be doing good, and just like that your talking to yourself.

25 yard submission

Took the Anschutz back to the range to try for the 25 yard tack drivers. Shot 3 targets and got scores of 23, 24 and 24. Would have liked to hit all 25 but on the last two targets, I pulled one shot each. Oh well, next week maybe!

Here's my submission for the 25 yard club.

Rifle: Anshutz 64 MPR
Ammo: SK Rifle Match
Scope: Mueller 8-32x44
Rest: Caldwell "The Rock" BR front and a medium Protektor for the rear.

Photo of the rifle, setup, target etc.

Thanks Frank! Got a new rifle to add to the 25 yard club.

23 total targets hit and one fly at the bottom of the paper. I don't believe we get bonus points for flies though!

Wifama wz.78 Polish Trainer with a Mueller 8-32 scope, using "The Rock BR" rest and shooting Wolf Match Target ammo.
