Firing pin spring replacement

1600 series 54 action thinking replace spring as it's probably original
What is key to taking the spring keeper off the flat firing pin ??
So I can measure ID of spring ??

If it is a 1600 the I.D is .220, I have about 6 of them not original but Wolff springs

send me an email (address) and I will send one to you, how as the hunt

Thanks Paul, but the fact is I do know Terry, so it is not as though I am helping out a total stranger. I did some tuner work for him and he bought a Falcon rifle from me.

But I do try and help if I can.

Lee is a wealth of knowledge and experience her on RFC..He has a high mechanical aptitude and is generous with his sharing of his knowledge....thanks Lee for the help you have given Mike & myself with our Anschutz rifles.

Hey Frank Thanks, The least I could do for you and Mike to repay both of your guys hospitality, Mike is going to owe me a couple of Waffle House breakfasts after I am done with the bolt.

I still smile when I about think how well you shot in that State match, I am very proud of your shooting as it was all you, I hope you know that.
don't want to put a psych on your brain but remember I did bore scope that barrel on that rifle, so to me the win is even more sweeter then most will ever realize.

Hi Lee --
Thx for springs -- gotta make a little tool tomorrow to hold compression on spring
So it doesn't go flying across room -- doubt there are any of them left in the world
Gonna change all 4 of these - the ones I use every week -- falcon included -
