looks like were finally getting into the 80's, been the warmest summer since I've been here. Lake Jovita north course tomorrow, little wider yet longer than their south course. one of the better courses that are fairly close. marty

Are those the ones that you only harvest the claws so they grow back?
Good luck hunting snowbirds.

Nice looking course from their website. Please tell me you don't hit from those Gold tees.

it's been my experience most golfers hit from the wrong tee, there is a fairly simple formula on miles of golf, take 28x your average drive, not your longest, just the average. hitting from the wrong tee slows the game down and is unfair to players following. instead of worrying about the tees to green most should practice putting and chipping. so every course the tee boxes to hole vary, look at the score card for distance, slope and rating. marty

Odd how that 28 multiple works out. Our group of old timers selects the men's tees at about 5600 yards and the over 75 members get to move up to the next forward tee. Most of us are in that 200 yard driving range. But you never did say that you hit or don't hit from those gold tees. But I finally did understand one of your comments, I'm getting better.
