Swapped the grips on my Wrangler and Single Six. I actually think the wood looks good on the Wrangler, and a stainless Single Six looks good wearing just about anything.

I agree with your statement. The woods really look nice on your Wrangler, and I also do like the black checkered plastic on your single-six. You have the best of both worlds. Enjoy your Ruger revolvers!

I put some Blackhawk grips on my Wrangler, decided I like the black plastic better.

This thread kind of reminds me of my 1911 pistols. I like to keep several sets of different color/material of grips and every so often you can change grips and it's kind of like owning a whole new pistol.

Kind of like when a woman changes her hair color.

And neither set fits either grip frame worth a hoot. I did it too. And they fitted so ugly I swapped them back.

Those look better. How's the bottom fit? And who made "em"?

Could you give us a bottom and side pic as to fit? Thanks. If they fit the frame well I will order a pair. The $0.25 black plastic factory don't fit at all on the bottom of ANY of the wranglers. Can't figure why ruger made the frames differnt from the SS.
