I'm ordering one also, based on this thread. I have a 1st Gen Lyman and never liked the picture quality. Recently it has stopped working as I pushed it into the bore, probably a loose connection inside one of the plugs.

I no longer recommend the Lyman to friends.

Well I'm glad I mentioned the item-thought it would have already been "discovered" by someone here...

I've used the heck out of mine and it still works perfectly. I have a fairly new Windows based laptop and just plugged it in. The screen popped up and it was on-line. Didn't have to do anything software wise and plugging it in automatically pulled up the camera function.

I just ordered one from Amazon. Will be here w free shipping about Nov. 2nd. Never would have paid big money for one so this will be an experiment. My dad's old Stevens 87D's barrel has never been cleaned so that will be interesting to see. Still accurate, however. I figure if the borescope doesn't work as described, it can be returned. Thanks to the OP.

If the quality of the image isn't as good as the pictures I've posted then there must be something wrong with it.

Sure wish I had something to do with the company because I bet they're gonna sell a crap load of these things. The three things that kill me about this unit is price, image quality and it fits in a 22!!!

I broke down and bought one after seeing how clear the pictures are and them being so much better than my lyman.
Just got it today and wow, it is so much more clear than my lyman. It's like going from VHS to blu-ray. So much more clear and crisp. I can see details with this one I could not see with my old lyman.

I just hate that this did not come out sooner. As I paid over $200 for the lyman, and this one is a fraction of the price and much better picture quality.

Got the Teslong borescope operational today. Simple on a Mac. Wish in a way I hadn't bought it. An old Remington 514 showed rusting in the end of the bore and large amount of carbon build up; a 10/22 showed carbon ring; a Remington 572 had a huge amount of carbon and a filthy action. Amazing that they shoot as well as they do. I'll try to post pics but am currently too embarrassed.

Here you are. Remington 514 I bought from my BIL. Some rust in end of bore about 1/2" and this carbon at leade which resists scrubbing.

What are you guys running it on. Says it won’t work on the iPad or iPhone nor my old Windows XP computer. Anyone know if it will run on a Kindle Fire which is sort of Amazon’s version of Android.
