Marlin 795 replacement parts

I love the Marlin 795, very accurate and a great value; however like any other gun, parts tend to wear and break down. Noticed a cracked trigger guard at the base of the back screw and the recoil spring was bent. I understand things eventually wear and need to be replaced. The issue is that I cannot find trigger guards or trigger guard assembly for sale anywhere. Appears to be discontinued or sold out or in back order. I've finally contacted Marlin and they are sending a new trigger guard and recoil spring free of charge. For future reference, where do you guys get replacement parts for the Marlin 795? Have an Appleseed event next weekend and scrambling to get it fixed before then as parts are in route still.

DIP makes a very good 795 trigger guard.

+1 one on gunfossil’s recommendation! I started putting DIP trigger guards and triggers on my Marlins and haven’t looked back. I’ve had decent luck with Numrich for other items I’ve needed for vintage semi Marlins. Things like recoil springs and buffers can generally be had from Brownell’s or Midway.

Great to read some good leads here, thanks. Acquired a 795 from my uncle and she needs some TLC.
