Iron sights, Olympic

Weather conditions 65 and Sunny and Breezy

Got the bench set up and it was calm as could be. Went to backstop to staple the target on and layed it down and it blew away. Lol. Had to chase it down. Wind picked up that quick. But it was Fun and that is what counts. Scoring plug was used.
Thanks Stan!!

That's darn good, Jack!

Heavy weather due to arrive tomorrow, maybe rain for a solid week.

I hope not. I'm way behind on my shooting..

Same here. Rain came down in buckets. Thunder and lightning and wind. The temp is supposed to steadily drop now. 13 foot waves predicted for Erie.

Looks like you got the Ruger shooting better. You were hard on them flys. Dirty filthy things.

Thanks Jack

It was the first time I've shot in one and a half weeks due to rain.

Today looks nice enough to get my old Remington out for a workout - tomorrow rain again.

Don't mind the cold, but my guns and gear DON'T like the wet!

RFC Alias, Shorty123, First name Jack
Score 75/80 ,Class I Irons
Iron sights, Factory post and notch
Rifle make, Rem. 581, Ammo, Fed. 714
Weather conditions 60 and Sunny and Breezy

Picked up a 581 and had to try it Iron sights. Wow, what a heavy trigger. Will fix that this Winter. Never did get it sighted in the way I wanted. Had to use some Kentucky windage to shoot this one. Will get it dialed in better next time.
Thanks Stan!! Always fun to shoot your target picks.

You get the trigger kinks on that 581 worked out and it'll give anybody a run for the money, Jack.

Good shooting!

I was having a so-so day with my own Remington:

You did well on that target with a Class II Rifle Stan. Those X's are really small. Have to be dialed in just right.
