RWS lost a scope rail screw

Log in to see fewer ads
from my Mdl 45, 1988, with the screw on scope rail. I pulled my scope off and discovered one of the 3 straight slot screws missing from under the scope ring (actual rail mount screw Not the rearmost tall diopter sight screw that most everybody thinks is a scope ring stop).
An i-net search has not found the size and thread pitch of those screws, anybody know?

Unfortunately, off the top of my head I don't know exactly what the screw specifications are, but they will be metric screws.

Looking at pictures of Diana rifles, best guess would be either M3 or M4 countersunk head screws.

If you happen to have a set of Sportsmatch scope rings, check the thread of one of the top ring screws (M4) to see if it matches the threaded hole in your action.

I don't think they are screws, they look like a screw head but are actually rivets.

Not according to the spare parts listings on T.W. Chambers website, where they are shown to be screws:

Well, looks like a prev. owner retapped to 6-48 on the back two; ie, the rail screw and that high sitting rear-most one I understand has something to do with the peep sight (that many have mistakenly considered a scope stop which it is totally inadequate for).
