me too, I pick up about any old winchester or remington that's a fair deal and not too far gone. I've got my great great uncles model 67.

I agree Killery; many out there but often the price does not = condition. I try to buy old ones that need a little work, but nothing that exceeds my very BASIC gunsmithing skills. I've also become aware that the cost of finding parts for vintage rifles can get pretty high, very fast. BUT--that's part of the fun. Find the parts, repair, then get the rifle out on the range or into the woods. Good hunting Killery. Let me know what you find next. I think I know where there may be a Win 67 Boy's Rifle...that will be my next project, I think.

Winchester 67 -2_1570680921230.jpg 67's are fun single shots but I prefer model 68's sights. Winchester 68 -2_1570681044339.jpg

The 67 on "The Range" today....shot the 25 yard Open Sight "Match"..... 185-0X. Not too shabby for a 1935 rimfire, 63 year old eyes, and Fed Champ SV ammo.

The model 67 could also have the Target sights from the 68

Here is a model 67 with the Target sights for auction. It has the complete front sight as well. I have no affiliation. Just passing it along.

The Win M67 sure looks a lot like my Remington 33. Both wonderful firearms of that, or any, era, IMO.
