Bought this 2019 Shot Show Maple SA 22 recently, and took a picture of it with my very early 1920's Remington 24:

Somebody branded the 24 in the past:

Both shoot very well, wish I had a peep sight for the Browning. I hate to put a scope on such a sleek rifle.

Nice guns. I have a Remington 24 and a maple SA-22 also, both in 22 short. Fun little guns.

Over the decades I've noticed that the gravitational pull of the earth has increased. Items I once lifted without thought are now much heavier. Lighter guns are an attempt to combat the problem.

Gravity, etc

Bob, your observation that the gravitational field of the Earth has increased is spot on! Furthermore, time has sped up and light seems to be dimmer than in my youth.
