I've been using rosewood FGC Eagles on my S&W K-frames since 1983, mostly their SW05-FPRO-NASM style.

Since this thread got resurrected and is now about alternatives to S&W FGC grips, I want to throw my personal choice in, as well. I am very partial to Nill grips.

I concur 100%. Jaruwan has provided me with several sets of grips. The quality is good and his prices are hard to beat. All of my grips were shipped quickly.

I've owned many of the brands out there, but Nill and Culina were my favorites.

If I had a set of factory combats, I'd take the stupid money being paid for them, and apply it to truly high quality grips such as the Nills and Culinas.

S&W grips

Saw your post this morning. Have you had any luck finding a pair ? If not, I found a set in one of my parts boxes. If you're interested PM me. we can work out a deal. I'm not looking to get rich on them. I realize it's a very old post, but if anyone else is interested, give me a holler.

I would check with happy on this forum. He has been selling S&W grips in the Trading Post for a long time and seems to have an endless supply and a wide variety.

I have bought a few sets of S&W grips from him and have always been happy (no pun intended).

Those look like Hogue grips. You might check Hogue grips website and see if they have that design. You may find the same design but w/o the emblem

S&W grips

Hard to find but less costly are grips S&W and the Ace grip company marketed back about the time as the combats were available. Their fliers were included with the literature found in the boxes back then .

1+ for that. Picked up a set of back-up grips for a 2nd series Colt Woodsman and was pleased. Good luck
