Hello looking for any and all information for the above model. Blue book lists only 10 or 12 gauge models. This gun has a laminated stock with a 30 year N%%% medallion. 2003 model from serial number. I have been offered one but need some idea of rarity and/ or value so I can make a fair offer. Condition is new unfired no box.

I had the same problem on RFC yesterday. G-a-p-p-e-d, as written normally and no dashes, came out as bunch of %%%%ed. Only on RFC, nowhere else. Now I know I'm not crazy.... yet.

Yesterday I changed the word to "measured".

It still did %%%%ed on this post, so I had to back up and do it with dashes...

What is going on? Someone else try these words and see what they get?

W-T-F written without dashes comes out %%%. And g-a-p-p-e-d is %%%%ed.........

Im an old H&R guy, still have a few, and imo H&Rs are not rare or collectable, though since H&R went under a few years back prices may have gone up. Imo this is not do to anything other than everything has pretty much gone up due to the inflation effect on our currency.....
The best resource for H&R/NEF used to be on the Graybeard Outdoors Forums in the H&R section. The For Sale sub-forum there kept the prices of stuff and may still for just this kind of thing. I havent been over there in a good long time.
A Nat Wild Turkey Federation 410, nib, may be worth a bit of a premium to a collector of that branded stuff Of it was nib with all paperwork, but to a typical H&R enthusiast it is just an overweight 410 that would have been better as a 20ga. and, for turkey (duh) a 12.
So that begs the question, why would the National Wild Turkey Fed. have a badged 410 made/authorized/whatever? My guess is someone swapped out the stock, waayyy easy to do, 2 buttplate/pad screws the stock thoughbolt and the one forend screw.
Buy it if ya like it for a shooter. IF the price is right.

I have several H&R/NEF guns and in my opinion since they arenít making anymore, itís at least a $200 gun in .410 or 28 gauge. The twelves and 20ís are more common and donít go quite as high.

I wouldnít rule out it fetching $250 or more from someone who is really wanting one of these.

I'll just add if you plan on shooting it pay what a regular shooters worth. If you pay the collector price, if there is one, it won't be worth that after you shoot it. Just saying.
