First Build for Squirrel/Fun

Unless you count my current factory looking Squirrel rig with Volquartsen trigger parts, internals polished, scope, sling, etc.

The basic plan for my new squirrel/fun rifle is:

Kidd lightweight 16.5" bbl, 762 flute, threaded, black
Boyd's Evolution Stock, Nutmeg
Kidd trigger job drop in
Drill receiver for cleaning rod
Bolt release auto DIY mod
Softer recoil pin
Kidd extractor
Nikon rimfire 3X9 BDC recticle
Burris Zee mounts - not sure on height, I have a post on this.
Sling Swivel mounts
Military Sling? I do use a sling for offhand shots.
Magazine release - keeping stock on this, no protrusions to dig in while carrying

Any must haves I am missing that are not terribly expensive?

You didn't mention what kind of bolt you are using but since you mentioned getting a Kidd extractor I'll assume it's a Ruger OEM bolt. You may want to pick up a Kidd guide rod and charging handle. I use them in every one of my 10/22 builds and they really slick up the action. One other thing you can get pretty cheap that I would recommend is oversize receiver pins. I hate the OEM pins. The oversized ones hold the trigger group nice and tight.

Yes , the Kidd charging handle and springs are the bomb.oversized pins a must and get a gun smither block instead of a v block ,if the evo stock is the Klingon looking one then that barrel is going to need the extra support!
A VQ action screw , itís shorter and so wonít top out. And a long rail, VQ , or dip are nice.

Thanks for the comments. I did order the Kidd trigger group pins and recoil buffer pin. I may get the Kidd charging handle, spring, and bolt later if I polish the factory ones and am not happy with it.
