Hey guys, just picked up a PPQ .22 4" today, and heading to the range tonight.

Gun feels really nice.

I wish I'd seen this thread earlier, as I ordered another 12-round mag before the pistol arrived so I'd have 2 - not knowing they are now coming with 2. Not like it isn't handy to have another, but I usually just deal with having 2.

I also ordered a P22 thread adapter for a suppressor, which fits slightly better (IMO) than the standard PPQ adapter.

Did anyone get a test target with the gun? I didn't.

I was also surprised that the gun came properly and generously lubed. Other recent purchases have arrived bone dry.

I still disassembled, checked, and re-lubed it - but I really didn't need to.

Just bought a 5' slide Walther PPQ M2 .22 with the fiber-optic front sight (two mags included). Took it to the range, loaded it up with 12+1 rounds of Aquila Super Extra and it ran like a Swiss watch. Good trigger, crisp, but no discernible re-set. No recoil to speak of. Shot at 15 yards and it shot a little high but that can be adjusted with the rear sight. Very happy boy. Now I have a decent pistol my wife m-i-g-h-t shoot.

Now almost completely converted to all .22 pistols and rifles, but keeping M1 Carbine, S&W M&P 9mm, S&W Model 64, 38 Spec., and Bersa Thunder 380. Social Security dictates the budget on my shooting.

I have 2800 rounds through my PPQ 5" and it has been as reliable as an anvil. It shoots anything but prefers CCI SV and other Federal products. It actually gets more accurate with round count, or maybe its me getting used to it. I really like being able to hold a full size grip instead of a scaled down design. That's why it replaced my S&W Victory. Ruger SRs and the P22s are too toy like for me. I have pulled the pins and taken it completely down for cleaning after 2500 rounds. I also removed the "safety" on the trigger and smoothed it out for a much better feel. Additionally I put a Tandemkross diffuser on it, a Williams rear sight for a S&W M&P and a Dawson PPQ M2 9mm front sight. The stock Walther rear sight will eventually fall apart. Its junk. Its a great toy and in spite of the thin barrel goes a long way before heating up. The image is before I removed the "safety"" on the trigger.

Good to hear!

I probably have just under 2000 through mine without any significant issues. I shoot mostly CCI SV.

I like the full-size of the PPQ as well.
