Pawn Shop Score - Dual Shotties for my sons

So I have 12 and 13 year old boys. Have taken them out to the clay range a few times using rental youth o/u's but wanted to get them something of their own. Thought about getting a youth-sized semi or pump or o/u, but the o/u's were too pricey, and I was worried about getting a youth gun with 22" barrel and 12" LOP that they would quickly grow out of... but yesterday I stopped in and found two Mossberg Maverick 20 gauges in like new condition (26" barrel with Modified screw-in Accuchoke) and got them both for $150 each. Figure I can order a set of youth short stocks for now to shorten the LOP, but they will have them as totally usable adult sized guns. I took one out to the sporting clay range today and it shot flawlessly and for the price, breaks clays just fine, and I won't have to worry about stocks getting dinged up etc. Gonna order some IMP CYL tubes to make it a bit easier to hit with.

Nice choice the 20 gauge . . .

. . . less punishing for smaller individuals to shoot making shooting more enjoyable. You received a good deal from that pawn shop.
