Visited my favorite dealer on Saturday and asked him my normal question. "Anything new and exciting come in this week". This is always pertaining to 22 LR guns. Said he had a busy week with accepting and selling trade ins, but nothing unusual. Before I visited him I stopped by Curry Thomas Hardware and bought a Mossberg Model 250C semi. Yes, a hardware store that sells guns.

Anyway, as I was leaving he started to mention the new M4 22lr that Tippmann " forced him to accept a couple of samples to sell.

Yeah, right, nothing new and exciting my rear posterior.

I had visited the site a couple of months ago and decided I'll note that for a future purchase.

So I bought the M4-22 Elite-L, for a very good price I may add.

He wanted to know how it shoots and I told him I would compare it to my Colt Walther M4.

Well, the magazine was too long on the Colt for bench rest. Didn't shoot it.

Tippmann had the same problem, but it was a little shorter than the Colt so I managed.

Keep in mind I'm using the sights that came with the carbine.

I'm 66 with not so good eyes, but I practiced at 25 and 50 yrds. I didn't think I did too bad. Especially with the 3" spatter targets. I did hit them at both ranges.

I gave him my targets so he could show potential customers what it's capable of.

Now the "con". I like 10 round magazines. Tippmann's web site shows 10,15 and 25 rd magazines, but they all look the same large size. I "NEED" shorter 10 rd magazine.

Heck!, on my AR I use only 20 Rd magazines. 30's are too long for bench rest.

I installed my Mueller 4.5x14 All Purpose Variable w/ AO scope on it tonight.

I want to see what the Elite does at 50 and 100 yds.

Now, that should be exciting.

Tippmann, please make a SHORTER 10-15 round magazine.

Otherwise, I LIKE IT.
