Mueller APV or Hawke vantage

I'm looking for a couple scopes. I have three or four mueller APV 4.5-14x40ao scopes, but was wondering if the hawke vantage 4-12x40ao was as good or better? Price is about the same, I just want something different. What else is good for around $130 bucks with similar magnification?

Step up a tad to the Mueller APV 6-18X44 AO - $145 .. better reticle And compared to the Hawke you ref. it's much better IMO.
