Being 20 in the 70's was much more fun than being 70 in the 20's.

In my mind I still think I'm 50ish but then my body reminds me that I am actually 72. I dream a lot of the olden days!

I still dream about playing golf and sailing. I wake up ready and willing to do just that...... then I wake up a bit more and realize.....that the golf clubs are rusty and that ship really has sailed.... far away.

Last week I dropped a screwdriver on the floor and it rolled under the tool box, I had to decide if I needed that particular screwdriver, I decided I did not, I got another screwdriver and finished the job. I can still get down on the floor to get the screwdriver, it just takes a hell of a lot longer to get back up.

My personal pep talk is "stop hurting yourself". It might have served me well to start saying/doing that earlier.

70s in 2020-21 perhaps? You olde kids, ketchup.

I'm still in the hunt for the fountain of youth.
