Though it won't stand up to the work of some of the craftsman on here I made a buttplate for my 12/15. The rifle had a broken and very poor fitting hard plastic plate. I love to shoot this rifle in these online matches, so I made the plate with that theme using an actual target from this month's match.

Very cool, I like it Jay !!!
But looking at the actual target, it looks like you shorted yourself a couple of X's on the steel version !

Very cool. I've got an aluminum buttplate on a bench oriented 22 PPC. You've given me an idea. Now if I can only get that buttplate to chuck up in a four jaw.

I think I know where you are going with that Boyd.

Screw a piece of wood to the back of it, shaped to fit in the chuck where you want it centered

Cheers

Sounds like a good solution since it's shaped like a coffin and won't fit squarely in the chuck.

***** 25 Yard Irons Entry ***** 11-29-2016
Score 443-5X
David R 56
Firing Pin Bergin NY
Anschutz MP R
Peep and Globe
Ammo, SK standard +
Inidvidual Scores 84-1X 91-1X 90-1X 92-0X 86-2X

Shot with Amymarie2688. I will post a picture with her permission.

The target was dark for Irons and a spot light right over my head. I put a hat on for glare and pulled the 1.1 Iris all the way back with the eyecup removed.
I had plenty of time so I shot 3 practice targets. I went up one turn or 2 minutes back to the 50 feet setting after the first target. Should have left it alone.
Guy next to me added a couple holes.

David

I really hate it when another shooter makes holes in my target. I wouldn't mind so much if they were 10s or Xs but they never are.

I didn't get to go to the range very much at all, due the rainy weather we've been having. Bob, you may as well turn my practice post into a real for-score

Hoping I do better in Dec...
