Where's that LIKE button?

I'm not a huge fan of full stocks but I wouldn't kick that one out of my gun safe

As far as I know (and according to the fellows at the USA-based Sako Collectors Club,) this M78 fullstock .22 is a unique factory special or a prototype.

If you ever see another, please let me know.

Accuracy testing. It shoots.

Nose cap compared to an Anschutz (on the left)

serial number circa 1980

Yours is the only one i have ever seen ever. Always have my eyes and ears open for high condition sako rifles.

STEYR made a full stocked model some with a double trigger. You would have better luck finding one of those. I did see one of those sell in the last year. Wish i had at least bid on it.

It is indeed special -- not only for the full stock, but also the quality of the wood -- many notches above the typical Sako rifle stock. I had a FinnFire Varmint that had a very nice stock, but a bit short of that one. As I said, a lucky man.
