I used to live in London. One day I was riding the Underground. It was crowded, so I had to stand. I ended up standing next to an attractive young woman. There are many attractive young women in London, but this one was special. She was stunningly beautiful. You don't want to stare, but you couldn't not look at her either.

She noticed me and smiled. I thought, wow, even though I'm old enough to be this woman's father, it's nice to know I've still got it. Then she leaned forward to talk to me. I thought "I can't believe this goddess is chatting me up in the Underground!". So I prepared my best pickup line, one that always works.

Then she offered me her seat.

I started to get old once when i was about 48...It was awful for a few years

Just got off the bike for a 30 minute hard spin. For my age group I’m always up in the top 20%. Spin 4 times a week minimum. Still can’t punch below 180 lbs. Blood sugar is still too high. The older you get the harder it is to lose weight. My wife says cause I drink too much. She’s probably right. Too many empty calories. Have to start setting my mind to it again. Probably save a bit of money as well. Been eating too much red meat as well. I know I’m going to get a spanking in September after my yearly physical.

Similar. Workout two hours a day and had to cut out sodas, sugars and red meat to feel better. It's worth it.

Stick with the good stuff and youll be fine. Beer bad; bourbon good.

I'm with York on the 20-70---70-20's thing. I do pretty much the same things I did as a younger man, just slower and for not as long. Left knee replaced, arthritis in the hands, lower back ache most of the time. I think if I lost 15 pounds the back pain would pretty much go away. Vision isn't what it used to be but I can still hit a target with iron sights. There's a whole lot of people worse off than me that are significantly younger than I am. I'm 77 and doing ok for my age. I accept every day as a gift.
