The laminate caught my eye so I had to pick it up. I have never seen another.
The aaa wood is excellent and I had a hard time getting a good picture.

M57 Montana Varminter as near as I can tell. What are the differences between the MV and the LVT?

Well, I guess I need to post some pics of my only Cooper centerfire, a Model 38 Single-Shot in .22 Hornet. Cooper discontinued this particular version quite awhile ago (though I believe they still offer the Model 38 in other versions) It does have some very nice furniture and a fluted stainless barrel. I would much prefer a blued barrel and have even pondered having the barrel cerakoted to match the receiver, but that may compromise its value.

I have one of your model 38's plainer sisters. A basic blued 38 Classic stock in 22 Hornet. I'm pretty sure Cooper discontinued the 38's a while back, I may be wrong on this though.

Cooper 38

Some very nice Coopers being posted here lately! Doug, that is a good looking 38, and with a Jackson Squirrel stock. How does it shoot? I picked up a 38 sometime ago here on the forum in 22 KHornet. Finally got it out to the range today to fire form some brass. Shooting Federal 33 gr Speer TNT's it didn't do to bad. Will see what happens when I get some brass formed and work up a load.First group at 50 yds sighting in, second at 100. And yes, I believe the 38's are no longer being made.
