Here's mine. Boyds stock, 1:9 twist. Cuts holes at 50 yds and shoots a one inch 3 shot group at 100 yds...with 20 grain ammo. Love it.

*No other color options
*Twist : 1/8
*Recommended load: 25g
*MSRP $566
*Same as the heavy stainless barrel (MSRP $425) just with the Boyd's stock
*Bolt and group same as stainless model
*Magazines have new spring to improve feeding
*New model will be widely available by late March, sooner in some places"

If this is true not sure why they would go to 25 over 20 ???
Yeah, I dunno either. I sold my 1/9 skinny stick and bought the stainless heavy bbl, and it prefers the 20 gn hands down! (and im glad it does). The skinny bbl likes the 25 gn, by a long shot as faras that went (no pun intended);-)

Im going to buy the pepper laminate thumb hole for my stainless bmag! (I have a thumbhole in forest camo for my 22-250 axis, a pepper laminate for my weatherby vanguard, and a royal jacaranda for my savage model 12 .308 stainless!), I just like the pepper laminate/stainless combo! ;-) can you tell I love the boyd's stocks!? oh, I guess I have one more as my 93R17 BSEV has an evolution stock in royal jacaranda!

Well here is my new shooting stick, primed and ready for some ground hogs (I hope). Picked it up last night, mounted the scope and took it to the range today. Shot 1" or slightly larger groups at 100yds with what ever you put in it. Brought it home today and put on the Boyds stock that was waiting for me. I hope it shoots some better with the new stock.

Need to get this going again since most of the original pictures don't show anymore after photobucket changed.

Added a few stickers to mine. Hopefully someday I'll get a different stock. But for now I like how light it carries.

Yeah it's been located. Haha I took it out to clean the rifle before placing decals on it. Safety first.

Bought this Bmag in May of this year for $289 on GB. CDNN was the actual seller. To make the deal even sweeter Savage gave a $40 rebate. Nice and light and shoots great. 1:8 twist. K serial # and I checked to be sure.

I got mine about 1 1/2 years ago, and bedded the action, changed the trigger guard to DIP aluminum version, have a Clearidge Ultra XP5 4.5-22.5x50, Mil Dot scope, and upgraded bolt handle to Glades Tactical Stainless Crosshatch. It's a shooter!

Just bought an original bmag for $139! Put a 6-18x50 scope on it I had laying around. Itís a really nice Cabelas Alaskan Guide which is much different than their cheaper scopes. I just hope it shoots straight! Wish me luck

Let us know how it shoots. I haven't seen many recently purchased sporter barrel models being a problem.

Edited out the old pix & in with the new..... upgraded to Lastshot's tactical bolt handle, CF wrapped barrel, and a Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40 AO fine duplex. 1/8 twist shoots the 20grn well.
