It's in their Recreational shooting lineup.

"Designed for a multitude of shooting disciplines, ELEY action is our newest all-purpose round."

Killough's has it on sale for $16.50 a brick so I bought 6 of them. I'll probably order 6 more soon.

I shot a couple of targets with it down in the fun shoots here on RFC a couple of days ago and am quite happy with it at its price point. 2.75 per 50. I got it since CCI SV has become real rare around my parts.

I hope it's as good as everyone says. I ordered 5 bricks of it... for the price it will be fine for squirrel hunting...

Shot several hundred rounds

From different lot numbers and its good practice ammo. One lot shoots .4 inch or less at 50 yards in one of my boys heavy barell 10/22s but other lots not...seems to be fairly consistant ammo overall though.

Just recently gave Eley Action a try. So far I've only done chrono work with it but what I'm seeing in the rifles, both semi and bolt, is that it is very consistent. See my chrono numbers here.

Just had my 3rd range-day with Eley-Action and really happy with ammo that cost less than CCI-SV with better results. It waxed all my usual plinker grade ammo (as expected) with better groups out to 75yrds. At 100yrds only one ammo (an HV) out the the 5 other ammos was better and just by only 0.25".

OK... So third outing with this ammo = just placed my 3rd order. Came to $3.16 a 50/box delivered.

So is the 4th outing going to produce your 4th order??

The reason I ask is I'm sitting on the fence about a third order, my first of the Rec Packs. I see the inventory went down by 30+ packs since early yesterday, but it's still nearly 2K strong. When I shoot tomorrow I will have gone through one brick of the Action and still like it for the price. I'll probably buy it again tomorrow, but it will be my last order, I hope.

I told myself the same thing.

My first orders were the 500pk. This last one was the 300pk.
Happy with it and VG sale price too. Maybe the last of it since the 42gr Action is starting to show up elsewhere.

Just now received my 3rd order (that was fast, again) of Eley Action 40gr (from killoughs, on sale) and these were in the 300rnd pack (six 50/bx in each box as pictured.)

Lot# 3117-30155. Casings and bullets look real good in the one 50/bx I looked at.

Just received a case ofvit this afternoon, ten recpacks. Lot # 3117-30155. It arrived double boxed & in perfect condition. My cursory inspections of random boxes looked great. Zero issues noted & service from time of order was very prompt.

Now, to get out and try some ofvit.

FWIW, my cost to my door was $3.21/box and I mostly just entertain myself when shooting RF, but sometimes will shoot in a small bore silhouette CLA match, so nowhere near as competitive as many here. I will compare it to some of the mid-level target ammo I have like SK magazine, std+, Geco, Norma &c as the opportunities present themselves. It isn't greasy, like the SK magazine & shows no excessive lubricant or loose bullets &c.

I was really impressed. It -is- greasy but they lube the bullets but not the cases - or my hands , shirt , pants and guns.
