Since CA is so jacked up that they have not sold any firearm here in a very, very long time. They recently decided to stop selling all ammo. Started with removing pistols calibers and “scary” rifle ammo (AR15) a year or so ago, To all out removing all ammo within the last 2-3 months.

Then it doesn't help if the sporting goods manager is anti gun. In the store my friend managed she sold over 200 guns. A year after she left they had only sold 5. So managers do effect the gun sales.

It is very odd, GA is certainly not "anti-gun".

I have about 20 stores within 30 minutes of me, and have been in all but a couple in the past few years. None carry firearms. I bought my first shotgun at WalMart.

I've gotten to know the sporting goods guy at my closest WalMart, as I pop in to check for .22LR every time I drive by (a couple of times per week at least.) Next time I'm there, I'll ask him if he knows why they quit carrying them here.

Some WM’s in the Tampa area do. Then again it’s Florida.

Is $195 a good price for a 10/22 from Walmart?

I'd think that's a good price for a 10/22 from anywhere. I've seen here where people have gotten some 10/22's ridiculously cheap from places like Walmart. Where I live you could never find a new one for that price.

Agreed. Cheapest I've seen around Indy is $219 at Rural King. Of course, if I "needed" another one $20-$30 wouldn't be the primary consideration. Availability would be!

That website has never been correct when I have gone to the store to buy something. Ammunition that isn’t really in stock, scopes in stock but not on sale, firearms not in stock or on sale.
