Is there a websight where people that collect the HS blackpowder revolvers congregate?

I don't know of any. I discovered these pistols about three years ago and after doing some research on them I decided to collect them. I now have the four models with the presentation cases. Makes a nice looking collection.

I'd post some pictures but I don't know how. I'll try and figure it out.

Frames from Hamden

The reason that I ask is that I went to the Hamden plant when it was closing. The company that I worked for bought hundreds of unfinished 12ga barrels.

When my contact heard that I was interested in blackpowder revolvers, he brought me into the model shop and gave me four frames in various states of completion. He said that they were going to get scrapped anyway. I forgot about them until I found them last week. I see on forums where people are interested in all types of revolvers, but no one mentions anything about the High Standards. They did what Colt did. They bought Uberti parts, made a US frame and assembled and finished them here. They were good quality, but today they are almost never mentioned.
