Most accurate tube fed 22 rifle?
What is the most accurate tube fed 22 rifle.I was thinking of trying to find a nice marlin 781.Is their some others that are more accurate?Weatherby has those nice old tube fed XXII's any others?I want to find one that is accurate so it doesnt wind up setting around not getting shot.

I've never shot a Marlin 57 lever-action rifle but I imagine it would be very accurate. It's hard to find a 57 in .22LR these days.

My Marlin 39A is super accurate.
BTW, anybody else notice how every answer has to do with Marlin?

Well, yeah, Marlin has the microgroove barrels and are one of the few makers currently making a tube fed gun.

Winchester 9422 , Weatherby XXII, Marlin microgroove. I own these 3 tube fed guns and they are accurate. Marlin will be your cheapest to buy.

Accuracy with any of my tube feds pretty much depends upon what kind of day I'm having. I really haven't noticed any difference between tube, clip of single shot.

Four other companies currently make .22lr tube fed rifles: Remington, Henry, Mossberg, and Browning.

My Browning ATD is a tube feed, just from the other end. It will hold its own with any of them. 3/4 in or less at 50 yards. VH

The most accurate tube fed .22 I have ever owned was a Winchester Model 72A. Last made in 1959; mine was made in 1958. Factory peep sight and hooded front sight . . . long barrel.
