Went to one of my " Dens of iniquity" and found some n.i.b. Mark 1 mags for $30. Plastic bottoms.
On the way out, I saw 2 Ruger magazine boxes in the display case. They are for standard and mark 1 pistols with the A100 frame warning. Price was $ 20 each.
Snapped them up! These are the chromed metal bottoms. Bummer that it seems they can't be disassembled for cleaning. Might get one of the plastic bottoms to save wear and tear.
They need to have the factory preservative cleaned off and I'll see how they run.
Always good to have a few magazines lying around...

The original chromed base magazines were a steal at $20 each as those usually trade at closer to $50 each. I like the older magazines but lately I have been using ten-round Mark II magazines in both my A54 and A100 Standard pistols.

You can disassemble them if you push the follower all the way down, I use a small dowel, and remove the button. You can also run a small screwdriver or punch through the slots on top of the follower and push it down. Then carefully let the follower slide up to the top and remove it and the spring. I use long cotton swabs soaked with CLP or just spray Breakfree Powder Blast into the end and wipe it out with a thin rag pushed in with the dowel.
