Well now med grade ammo is 50$ a brick my shooting has slowed way down.

All my high end ammo will serve as distance 100yds and more groups and putting data on paper.
All my mid grade stuff I will only paper punch to check zeros and shoot squirrels.

I donít have any junk bulk ammo.

I have heard fed auto match is appearing back around for 18$ 325 rounds. Box bulk.
Will see.

Ammo I have now if only squirrel hunting should last 10yrs

If I don't go shooting it will last forever. I probably have about 10,000 rounds of high velocity .22.

Lasting 22 ammo

It will last until more becomes available. Once Iím satisfied that I have matched ammo and firearm to the best reasonable results, I will shoot minimally until more is available. If I start to get below a minimum level (500 rounds per rifle/ammo match) I will stop shooting. Currently have about 10,000 rounds of 22lr. I wonít spend crazy money to replenish just to have it.

Funny I was doing the math on this yesterday ,, Iíve got three years or so with me shooting the same as I do now,, but I would slow down long before I got close to running out,, I really hope this drought doesnít last that long so I can stash more..

I can shoot 100 rounds per week,,,

I can shoot 100 rounds per week,,,
For the next ten years.

That's if I get no chance to replenish along the way.

a hundred a week.......?

How does that translate for you?
And hour a week, two hours maybe, or perhaps 30 minutes????

Iím curious because everyone is different in pace in every discipline.
If Iím just shooting at steel plates 100 rounds maybe a 30 gig and if Iím punching paper a 100 may last a couple hours.

For my personal recreational shooting,,,
It is actually about an hour.

I mainly use single-shot rifles,,,
Or repeaters with a single-shot adapter.

I got all of my speed shooting ya-ya's out many years ago,,,
Back then I would burn through a brick of .22 in 2 hours.

I'm all about slow fire long-ish range shooting now.

Depends on how much I shoot. If it's anything like this year my rimfire ammo will outlive me and I'm only 39. If I shoot as much as I do most years I probably have enough for the next 10 years.
