The Pac-Lite has been, although it gave me fits all last year with light strikes. I've used the MKIV the past couple shoots though. I built it first, then wanted to build a lighter gun and did the Pac-Lite. Took a year to diagnose the light strikes, and finally found that the VQ hammer had some kind of a catch in the hammer strut. Sometimes it would hang up just enough for the bolt to ride over it. Caused friction, and didn't go back into battery fully. Just got lucky to figure it out. With the hammer in hand, working the strut back and forth and it hung up. After that, I was able to recreate it if I held it at the right angle. VQ sent me another hammer, and its been perfect since. It was a rare tricky issue.
I've got a MKIV 22/45 with a VQ upper that I just built that is going to likely replace the Pac-Lite though. Its just too light. Probably about 24oz with the red dot. The MKIV above has been an absolute machine though. Finally had an issue with it in the last match, never had anything in a year and a half. Trigger didn't reset, and I had to back the pretravel screw off a hair. Back in business after that though. I normally shoot it in knockdown matches, because I'm more accurate with it since its a little heavier. The Pac-Lite swings fast, but is a little flighty feeling when aiming at something smaller.
