FWIW, my OOB MkIV Hunter had a 5.25# pull, way too much PT and OT and plenty of creep. Now at 19oz pull, just 3/32" total travel and no creep (solid break-like-glass wall), cannot imagine a finer target trigger to be had!

Keep them both.

Since you are familiar with the disassembly of the MK II, keep it and get a MK IV to go along with it. I know you will love the MK IV and you can have the MK II as a spare and range gun.

...the MKII is their masterpiece... the lawyers helped create the awful MKIII with features no body wanted but them.. the MKIV might be a good idea for cleaning but no one buys a target gun to have good take down ideas, it has to shoot well. The MKIV has already shown more design problems than the MKII ever has and it still has a so-so trigger. The MKIV is a solution to a problem that doesnt exist... you can learn to easily take down a MKII in about 10 mins.
