I shot 5, 10, and 20 shot groups multiple times with each brand/lot. Yes I did go thru a lot of ammo but its winter and the nearest indoor range 7 hours away, so why not. The interesting thing is Eley shot the worst before the tune with Lapua and RWS the best. With this tune (so far) 5 lots of Eley, 3 lots of Lapua and 5 lots of RWS are pretty even. There is some POI difference in the 3 and between lots but all pretty good. Also at every other tuner setting the first cold barrel shot was high and right out to the 50/25 ring. Now the first shot is only about .2" high and comes right down to a group after 2-3 shots. The best is still RWS/Lapua Then ELEY but I would shoot any of it in a match if its all I had. These were shot over 4 days at temps from 30-60, morning, afternoon and evening. I shoot from an indoor bench to outside with only 1 wind flag at about 20 yards out. To cold and windy to go out to the outdoor benches right now with a full set of flags and meters. I will keep going lighter on the Tuner out to 24 clicks. If nothing else appears better I will probably stay with this one at least for a few matches this summer. All the ELEY and Lapua is no longer available but there is more of the RWS.

My question is, why do so many people assume that moving the tuner in 10 mark increments tells us anything. What if 10 marks is the distance between in tune to completely out of tune. Actually, with my tuner, this is very often the case. I very strongly feel that we skip over sweet spots moving like that. In fact, it's much more than a feeling. I've watched the barrel's oscillations on an oscilloscope, confirming that.
