I bought a BX at a major retailer, and paid about $75 (including my military discount). But I got to test all five triggers on the rack thanks to the special packaging, and picked a smooth one that tested 2 1/2 pounds at home.

I don't claim to be a guru, but back in 2013 I decided to do a custom 10/22 build. I researched barrels, stocks, triggers, etc.

I was sent to Clark's Customs for my trigger job. Plastic parts replaced with metal parts, tweaked to how I wanted it to shoot, and got all the stock parts back that were replaced.

Have no idea if they are around or are still doing 10/22 trigger jobs.

After all the custom work I did to the rifle, I never shot it before the custom work, never shot it after.

Why recommend a company if you've never tried their work! They are still around and still doing work on 10/22's. They are a little overpriced for what you get compared to the competition IMHO.

Yeah, I didn't quite get that either. Never shot it before or after? So if I read that right, then whats the deal? Why in the world would you do custom work to a gun you weren't going to shoot? I mean, maybe thats not what happened and I'm reading it wrong, but if so whats the point?

Maybe an Ironic way of saying either
1. Its the journey not the destination, or
2. Donít waste your time and money on the minutia, go shoot the darn thing.

I ordered a BX trigger from Grab A Gun yesterday. Not because I needed one, but because y'all are enablers. I figure if I have a trigger, well, that's an excuse to build another 10/22.

I appreciate the offer, but I'm good. I had accidentally ordered an extra Volquartsen takedown screw...

I'll be sending my BX Trigger Group to Brimstone next week for their Tier 2 upgrade and "Pull instead of push" mag drop lever. Hopefully they can get the trigger pins to stay in better than I can!

there are no "tiers" for the BX..the only thing you get to choose on BX tune up, is the color of the trigger blade
