I would have thought the pay would have been more 50/50? Especially since Sturm money started the company? It's always bothered me that Sturm was dropped from the logos and letterheads.

“It was voted to increase the salaries of the officers as follows: William B. Ruger at $19,000 per year and Alexander Sturm at $12,000 per year.” Ruger’s salary beginning in 1949 had been $6,000 annually and Sturm, $3,000 per year.

BC,

When I first started looking at the MKI targets in the late 70's, "Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc." was still on the .22 ads and paperwork, 30 yrs after Strum's passing.

Today, Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. is still the name sake of the corporation. FWIW, my MkIV 2017 owner manuals are all copyrighted, "Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc"!

IMO, I'd expect the Strum family lineage is still being taken good care of!!!

I can't believe all these years I've been saying STRUM and Ruger when it's really STURM and Ruger!

The brain does some weird things!

How did it take me 36 years to notice this! I've been shooting Rugers my whole life!

Tony.
