Tim, are you sure that's a 5018 trigger? It has the pink glue on the pins which I was under the impression was only on an the early 5071. Replacement 5071's had clips instead of glue as the glue would fail eventually.

Hips,

Yes I am. Anschutz made 5018 triggers with red epoxy too for a few years. I'm not sure when they switched to c-clips, but it wasn't in 1980. There are a few other signs. Firstly the bolt is an 18xx, there is no slot cut through the body in the injector groove. A 16xx firing pin won't work in an 18xx bolt; the geometry of the handle and locating slot are subtly different. As an 18xx bolt/firing pin won't work with a 5071 trigger, it must be a 5018.

Also if you look closely behind the safety catch, you'll see the access hole for the coarse weight adjustment cam. This first appeared on the 5018. Later replacement 5071-1 triggers have this feature too, but these are 5018 triggers with a 16xx compatible catch.
