Canjar trigger 37 issue

Hello all I went out to the shop today to clean my Canjar trigger 37 and can't get the bolt out. I read that the procedure is the same as for the miracle trigger and I have never had an issue with my miracle trigger equipped version. Any suggestions would be MOST welcome!
Thanks,
RogerG

Did you press down in the hole in the right place and pull the trigger at the same time?

I felt the sear move and pulled on the trigger (it didn't budge) just as I did on the factory one no luck. I put a snap cap in and it seems to operate as it should.

Of course you could take the action out of the stock and then remove the trigger and maybe see what the problem is. That seems like a lot though. The sear is the only thing holding the bolt from coming out, obviously the sear is not going down far enough to get the bolt out.

Does the magazine have any bearing on the removal? should I remove it?

I would not think so, but I personally remove the magazine or single loader when I clean my rifle.

I went ahead and brought it into the house (where it's warmer) and took it out of the stock. I had been using a small punch to try and depress the sear but I forgot it in the shop so I used my smallest jewelers flat screwdriver an low and behold first try it came falling out! Figures right?

And now the rest of the story...
When I put everything back together I neglected to put the bolt back in so when I went to do that guess what.. It didn't go in of course! All's well after disassembling it once again and fitting the bolt before re-installing the action and trigger shoe (which needs to be removed to take out the barreled action). Though I didn't directly observe it I believe the presence of the trigger shoe prevented the sear from being depressed enough to release the bolt. It's the only thing I can think of. Hopefully someone else will weigh in to clue me in.

I am still hoping that someone in the know can tell me if there is a way to remove the bolt without removing the trigger shoe as the set screw is damaged and one side of the slot is broken off and I need to use a needle nose pliers to remove it. Also if anyone knows where to source a screw please let me know.
Thanks,
RogerG
